About Qiyue Wang

I’m a visual storyteller and illustrator.
My work often revolves around quiet emotions, inner tension, and the metaphorical spaces we build for ourselves — especially in relation to memory, family, and identity.

I enjoy blending personal narrative with visual design, whether through books, installations, or speculative concepts.
My practice seeks to find softness in silence, and meaning in the small, unnoticed moments of life.

Currently based in the UK, I’m completing my BA in Graphic Design at De Montfort University.
I’ve worked across illustration, editorial layout, and conceptual design, and I’ll be continuing my postgraduate study in Communication Design at the University of Southampton.

Beyond the studio, I find inspiration in Taoist philosophy, old architecture, stories that aren’t always told loudly — and sometimes, just the quiet act of watching leaves move in the wind.
